Twin Peak Challenge 2010

Success is in the eyes and the minds of those who step forward and try! Our Twin Peak Challenge 2010 ended with complete success;  a big thanks to the Brad, Stuart and Team Leader Clare who kept the boys in check over the two week trek of Two peaks in Two weeks. The great news is that all three challengers reached both summits of Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro, and the donations and pledges raised will be utilized in the coming year to deliver in one form or another fresh drinking water to the Maasai community of Eselalei.

You can catch up on the stories and events that unfolde surrounding the Climb For Water on this page at the BushUpdates blog. Better yet, subscribe to that blog so you will be kept informed of the climb’s progress as it happens!

Donate on-line

Thanks to the help of one of the challengers in the UK – Stewart and his ‘Asante Sana Foundation’, we now offer the possibility of making your donation on-line through PayPal. The reason your payment will go to the Asante Sana Foundation is that PayPal requires a UK registered charity to accept on-line donations. All transactions, however, will be processed transparently and all donation will be brought by Stewart, in full, to Tanzania when he arrives in country for the challenge.

The people of Esilalei are grateful for any donation!
