African Roots Foundation

Once again, the people from Karibu Fair organised the yearly Karibu Tourism trade-fair in Arusha; kicking off the new season by showcasing all that Tanzania has on offer with operators, lodges and suppliers all putting their best leg forward.

Bush2Beach Safaris presented itself in one of their large mess-tents, the sides of which were lined with pictures of the beauty of Tanzania and its people. The African Roots Foundation, being an integral part of the Bush2Beach philosophy of not just visiting a place but experiencing the daily life and cultures of the communities involved, used this opportunity to present itself to the world and to strengthen it’s network of partners.

After a succesful first half of 2008, time has come to share our experiences with you. All about our foundation, all that has happened in our project areas of Eselelei and Pangani and the ideas for the upcoming period.

With many opportunities to engage in one of our projects yourself; we need a multitude of skills to give our projects the maximum reach. From the processing of bio-waste into briquettes to the design and exploitation of a pharmacy, the coming period is going to be an exiting one!
